We currently cater for 10,000 people.

There are five main camps:

  • Gap at Punta Rincon for admin personnel
  • SK for workers of the power plant
  • TMF for contractors near the Transmission line
  • Cobre 3000 for those working at the process plant
  • Dorado for mining workers


Housing is provided for expatriates in the form of single rooms, some en-suite and some with a shared bathroom between two rooms, however provisions in the different camps can vary. Some of the camp accommodation may be shared bathrooms between the blocks.

  • Although inventories may differ you can expect a bed, bedside cabinet, wardrobe, desk and chair, linen, towel, bed side light.
  • The rooms have Air conditioner units.
  • Some rooms may have a TV or fridge installed.
  • A Washing service is provided at minimum twice a week and bedding changed once a week.
  • Wi-Fi service is available from the rooms.
  • Rooms are cleaned daily except Sundays.
  • Power plugs run off the American pin plug system so you may need to bring in your own converters.


There is a gym, and basketball court, on site for your use. Gym facilities are available at Dorado, Cobre, TMF, Gap and SK Camps.

Cobre 3000 is the main camp in the Mine area and has a bar, clinic, gym, cinema and other facilities. There is also bar at Dorado Camp, TMF, Gap and SK which sells beer, soda and wine. Alcohol can only be bought and consumed at the bar.
